  • Mrs Wainwright Retires

    Today saw the retirement of Mrs Moira Wainwright our School Meals Clerk who has worked at the school for over 25 years. Mrs Wainwright has been an excellent dinner lady and has been much fondly appreciated by all the staff and pupils.

     

    "Moira, we hope you have an enjoyable, relaxing and healthy retirement."

  • Carmarthenshire Cross Country Championships

    This evening the school competed in the Carmarthenshire Schools Cross Country Championships. A coach load of children from years 3 to 6 competed against hundreds of other children from across the county at Nantyci Showgrounds, Carmarthen. All the children gave of their best in damp conditions and were a credit to the school. Many thanks to parents and staff who supported our children.

    A special mention to two pupils. Abigail Pike came 5th in the year 5 girls' race and Sam Bowen came 6th in year 3 boys' race. They will now have the opportunity to represent Carmarthenshire Schools. Well done you two.

  • URDD Rugby Tournamant

    Well done to the school rugby team for competing very well in the URDD rugby tournament today. Some boys were playing for the first time but the skills and effort were excellent. In their group they beat Trimsaran 10-5 and beat Furnace B's 10-5. However in the last group game decider against Parcytywyn they lost 25 - 0. Da iawn bechgyn.

  • Music Concert

    Years 3 and 5 enjoyed an excellent concert by Carmarthenshire's peripatetic music Service at Bryngwyn School. Various songs from children's films were played. The most popular song was Frozen's "Let it Go."
  • Eco Eli Visit

    Mon 08 Sep 2014
    The children saw a fantastic show with Eco Eli today. It taught the children the importance of looking after our environment and recycling. Many thanks to the Carmarthenshire team and the Gregory Brothers.
  • New Prefects

    The new prefects from year 6 have been given their badges and will next week start their duties and responsibilities.
