World War 2 Veteran Visit - 12.10.16
Years 5 and 6 had a wonderful visit from a 93 year old World War 2 veteran today. Ernie Hughes who was a sailor in the navy during that time spoke about his experience. The staff and children were enthralled by the stories he had to tell. He also showed his medals and a picture of himself during the war.
Parc Y Scarlets Visit - 30.09.15
Today years 5&6 visited Parc Y Scarlets as part of their theme on Champions. They had literacy and numeracy tasks, interviewed a Scarlets' player (Steffan Evans), had a tour of the stadium, played games in the barn and finally went to the shop. It was a thoroughly enjoyable day.
Year 6 Leavers' Service - 14.07.15
Thank you Mrs Peters and the pupils in year 6 for a fantastic leavers' service today. The pupils gave of their best after only 2 days practise. It was an emotional afternoon and we wish all the children every success as they go into secondary school.
Mods and Rockers Day - 18.06.15
Today was year 5 and 6's Mods and Rockers day. The pupils have been studying the 1960's and today was a special day because they dressed up as characters from the 60's, talked about themselves and had a disco for the last hour. The children and staff made a fantastic effort as you can see from the year 6 photos below.
